    » ITINERARY
    Day one:
We will pick you up from Cape Town International Airport and transfer you to the quaint fishing town of Mosselbaai where we check into the historic Post Office Tree Manor Hotel. While we wait for everyone to arrive, you have the luxury of deciding between spending the afternoon at leisure or visiting any of the many local attractions. Over dinner you will meet the rest of the crew and we will brief you on the days to come.

    Day two:
After an early morning breakfast we launch and spend most of the day at sea looking for the Great White Sharks in the vicinity of Seal Island. Once at anchor we will make every effort to lure the White Sharks in by chumming the water with a special mixture of sardines, tuna and shark livers. Once the sharks arrive you will be given the opportunity to get into the cage to view them from as close as they will get, and while others have their turn you can photograph the sharks and excitement from the deck!

Before we head for shore we will try to entice the sharks into attacking decoys towed behind the boat - a fantastic photo opportunity! If there is enough light and energy left in you we will fit in a quick tour of the town before reliving the day over an excellent meal and even better wine!

    Day Three:
Today we travel via the last hand-drawn ferry to the Southern-most point of Africa at Cape Agulhas and from there via the historic towns of Baardskeerdersbos and Elim to Kleinbaai where, with a bit of luck, we will also see the first Humpback Whales and Southern Right Whales of the Southward migration. And if you did not do too many smoke breaks on the way we will still have time to fit in a dive to see the smaller shark species of the Gansbaai area (no cages I am afraid) before dinner and a warm bed.

Along the way we also hope to see and photograph the rare Blue Crane, as well as Springbucks, Ostrich, Kori Bustards, Herons, Flamingoes, and many more bird species - a day not wasted at all!

    Days four and five:
Dyer Island and Geyser Rock is the home of an estimated 60,000 Cape Fur Seals, the staple diet of the Great White Sharks. The area between the two islands is called the "Killing Zone" and this is where we anchor and bait for the king of the ocean, the Great White Shark. It is high season and we have a 80%+ chance of the sharks finding us... On day four we do a tour of the area, on day five we pack up after diving and travel through the beautiful mountains over the Sir Lowry's pass to Simons Town for the highlight of the trip - the world famous breaching Great White Sharks of False Bay!

    Day six:
Out at sea before dawn, we wait quietly for the sun to rise through the mist and all hell to break loose when the seals gather in groups and dash for the safety of land while the White Sharks tear into them with exploding plumes of blood and guts in an orgy of feeding frenzies - slowing down only with the light and the sight of the gulls settling on the water, safe in the knowledge that both they and the sharks have eaten their fill... And then the real climax comes - this is the only place in the world where the White Sharks consistently a smash clear out of the water when they attack the seals - so we show you to set up you cameras and then we trawl decoys a few meters behind the boat - and then it is up to you to get that once in a lifetime shot! We will have a light lunch on the boat and return to shore before midday. After a quick shower we are off to see the breeding colony of African Penguins at Boulders Nature Reserve and from there to the Cape Point Nature Reserve (maybe we meet up with the resident Chatka Baboon troops) and on to Cape Town for a last night out at the Victoria Alfred Waterfront.
