    » ITINERARY
    Day one:
From Durban International Airport we make a run for the border where we hit the 4x4 track to Ponta Mamoli in Southern Mozambique. Check in at the camp (log cabins under indigenous trees) is followed by a big campfire and a meal never to forget.

    Days two and three:
With visibility rarely less than 20 meters, water temperature 27+ degrees Celsius and an abundance of fishlife on the reefs the table is set for the dish of the day - divers and Bull Sharks! Three dives a day from semi-rigid boats and so many meals will be all we have time for...

    Day four:
Back to civilization via rural Zululand and a visit to the Natal Sharks Board to view the audiovisual show and display of sharks, rays and turtles endemic to the area. Then we transfer to the little diving village of UmKomazi where you will be received with typical South African hospitality. Dinner is a social affair - steaks on the fire accompanied by local wines & beers (we cater for vegetarians and non-alcoholics too), and of course we brief and prepare physiologically for the diving:-)

    Days five to six:
It is an early start for two dives per day at Protea Banks - rated as one of the world's best shark diving spots and certainly one of the most adventurous! An exiting launch through the surf takes us to the Southern Pinnacles where we search for the Bull Sharks that hunt on this reef. Of course there are also Tiger Sharks, Giant Guitar Sharks, several other shark species and rays (devil, manta, bull, eagle etc) as well. Visibility varies from 8 to 40 meters, and the water temperature is 24+ degrees Celsius.

During the afternoons and evenings we:
Visit the spectacular Oribi Gorge where you have the option of abseiling, gorge swinging, or simply enjoying the awesome scenery, and then top it with a late afternoon game drive in the private Elands Wildlife Reserve, spend an ofternoon at leisure and dine at different restaurants, with the highlight being a traditional meal at a family kraal in rural Zululand - part of our commitment to supporting traditional communities.

On day six we transfer to Durban, the capital city of KwaZulu Natal for a night out in town!
